According to a SurveyUSA poll, Romney as a running mate would deliver Michigan to the GOP on a silver platter. A disaster such as losing Virginia, Colorado, New Mexico and Iowa would still yield a completely even electoral college.
An effort in Pennsylvania, the convention in Minnesota and some hardcore electioneering in Virginia, Colorado, Ohio and Florida can bring a third Republican White House term.

While Romney is a perfectly good choice, I agree that Alaska Governor Sarah Palin would do as well to retain the core GOP vote as well as eviscerate the Obamessiah's false gospel of change.
I'm a big fan of Palin myself. However McCain's age probably urges voters to consider her as potential president, and she hasn't had that much experience yet.
Still, a McCain-Palin ticket would be HOT and definitely to watch.

Mitt Romney is an excellent VP choice.
Far be it from me to be carping here, but that poll is over 3 MONTHS OLD.
Not even considering the internals and the methodology to see if it is at all reasonable ---- It's Way past its Expiry Date.
Bottom line ---- Not worth doodly at this moment in time. I would go for Romney just because he 'might' help in Michigan and other places, but not because this poll indicated anything productive.
Romney is scummy man. he is a liar and a coward his 5 sons not one of them went to Iraq. in the usa Mormons are a cult and not to be trusted in anyway. I would trust osama bin laden before a crazy lying mormon.
